Mountain Laurel Academy is an accredited, non-traditional learning center offering access to challenging academics for students in grades 5-12. All curriculum is individually designed and implemented by seasoned, certified teachers. This "university model" is a great alternative for students who are academically focused but aren’t getting what they need in larger environments OR parents who want to homeschool but want the benefit and expertise of master teachers. Visit us today!
The admissions process includes an application, a copy of current ITBS or other norm referenced test scores, a visit to the school and/or a “shadow day,” a short interview and a small application fee.
All curriculum is based in a classical model but is designed to fit each student individually. We use minimal technology, instead focusing on listening and note-taking skills necessary for college. We are fully accredited with quality by the Georgia Accrediting Commission.
Middle schoolers (Grades 5-8) attend academic classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. High schoolers (Grades 9-12) attend academic classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Fridays are reserved for field trips, guest speakers, leadership classes, art, music, and team building.
